Citizen’s Caine

Rembrandt pastels layered with extra soft sennelier. Some pencil used for accent and blending.
Inspiration was a walk through the sugar cane fields where I played as a child. Bright colors were chosen because I’m inspired by Warhol and his factory. Warhol churned out paintings in the factory like the farmers of the Deep South churned out cotton and sugar cane.
