Cherry Blossom Bliss

I have been challenging myself to work on a larger scale so I purchased a few Pastelmat art boards. I had originally painted a smaller version of the cherry blossom and thought I would play around with it again. I used panpastels for my underpainting, then a variety of soft pastels for the painting. I typically start with my darker colors and work towards the lighter colors, often returning to some of the darks when I adding details.
