I took the picture of the Spaso-Preobrazhenskiy Varlaamo-Khutynskiy women's monastery in Novgorod oblast, Russia during my visit. There's a lot I loved about it: the architecture, the history, traditions, the place and of course I wanted to try to draw it to keep my memories fresh.
