Odette the ballet swan

Odette the ballet swan is a drawing in soft pastels. I used soft pastels panpastels and pastel pencils to create this image. I love wildlife and birds and the swans one of my favorite birds. In this drawing this swan looks like she is dancing. The name Odette came from a dancer who was considered to be the best dancer of her generation before an accident caused her to become disabled. The swan reminds me of a ballet dancer.
